The Laboratory for Immunology, Immunopathology and Autoimmunity has the scope to study and research the auto antibodies markers of the systemic and specific autoimmune diseases of organism, with the purpose to support the clinical diagnosis as well to help the prognosis and therapeutic monitoring of the same pathologies. It is a laboratory specialised in "gold standard" techniques, complying updated recommendations, algorithms and guidelines and that provides to their colleagues results with high positive predictive value. We are positioned as consultants for the laboratory medicine, for the physicians’ colleagues, making available our knowledge in this area in order we can anticipate the detection of autoimmune pathologies.

The Laboratory of Immunoserology uses immunoassay's technologies, very sensitive and specific, diagnosis-oriented for the infectious pathologies, namely infections caused by HIV, HBV, HCV, TORCH group virus and to study the infection caused by Treponema pallidum, Rickettsiosis, Borreliosis, infection by the Parvovirus B19, Herpervirus, etc.
